Welcome to DISCoveries, the New Product Newsletter from DiscGolfStore.com. Last week was a busy one for us around here, as we listed more new products on the site than any other time in our history! In this issue, we’ll highlight the latest arrivals and provide you with a members-only coupon so that you can grab some of these hot new products at a sweet price.
New Products Galore!!
It seems as though all of the major disc companies have been working hard on new products this summer. Millennium just released the much anticipated Orion LS and Omega, both in super-durable Sirius plastic with 1st Run stamps. Discraft unleashed a wave of new products in the past couple of weeks that include the Pulse ESP, Predator ESP, and Surge ESP all in 1st Run Stamps, and the Avenger ESP (no 1st Run for this one).

Not to be outdone, Innova recently introduced the Skeeter DX (1st Run), as well as a whole host of STAR plastic discs, including favorites like the Firebird, Monster, Leopard, and the Coyote STAR Tie-dye. However, the BIG news from Innova is the arrival of the long-awaited redesigned Tour Bag. This bag has had a major overhaul, and sports some great new features like dual 32-ounce beverage holders, rear hookups for a backpack strap, and increased durability. We’ve also added new DVDs from Scott Stokely, and the feature-rich Ching Standard bag.

Welcome to DISCoveries. In the last issue, we told you about the great new plastic from Innova, STAR. STAR combines the durability of the Champion line, with the improved grip of the Pro line. DiscGolfStore.com has the complete STAR line in stock and ready to ship. Current models include the Aviar, Beast, Sidewinder, Stingray, Starfire (a.k.a Star SL), Teebird, Valkyrie, and Wraith. Discraft hasn’t been resting on its laurels either, and has developed a new plastic blend of its own — ESP. ESP is a new high-end plastic that combines the durability of Elite-Z plastic with the improved grip of the Elite-X blend. Much like the STAR plastic, this new blend provides greatly improved grip as compared to the Elite-Z line, which is crucial when playing in cold or wet conditions. Discraft’s first ESP disc, the Surge, is now available at DiscGolfStore.com, sporting a “First Run” hot stamp. The surge has an overall stability rating of 1.7, and has tons of glide. Supplies are limited, so grab a First Run Surge while you can.
In addition to the new Surge ESP, Discraft has also recently released the Banger GT, Buzzz Elite-X GT, and Tracker Elite-Z. Of these, the Banger and Buzzz are unique as they sport the new Groove Track (GT) on top of the disc. The Groove Track is exactly as it sounds, a groove running around the dome of the disc. The groove improves the comfort of the disc in your hand, and we believe helps the disc fight the wind. Both the Banger and Buzzz GT are available in limited First Run stamps.
